Do You Have a Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver For a Motorhome With Workhorse W-Series Chassis?

Question:

Do you have any dimensional detail for this hitch? I’m trying to replace and upgrade a Reese hitch on our motorhome. MoHo is a Workhorse chassis, 34” between frames. I’ve got 12” to work with from the tail end of the chassis measuring toward the front. And, it is about 8” from the end of the MoHo chassis frame to the outside of the MoHo end cap bumper if you will. The bottom of the MoHo chassis is slightly lower than the bottom of the MoHo end cap - it would be possible but not preferred for the receiver socket to extend under the MoHo end cap on the same plane as the bottom of the chassis. Thanks!

While Draw-Tite will not give a dimensional drawing for the Receiver # 41936 I do not see that it confirmed to fit on a Workhorse chassis. They will not provide a dimensional drawing as it would then open up the likely hood of another manufacturer or person creating their own receiver based on their work.

Typically with most motorhomes you will need to install a universal receiver like the Draw-Tite Ultra # 41990-07 which can be bolted or welded into place. This receiver is designed to fit frames up to 44" wide and includes 7" tall mounting brackets. The reason there is not specific ones for the workhorse chassis is since every RV manufacturer is different the fit will not fit on all the different chassis depending on how the motorhome manufacturer places their particular body/bumpers. While the receiver itself is rated for up to 1,600lbs of tongue weight and maximum trailer weight of 16,000lbs you will still need to ensure you do not exceed any manufacturer specifications for towing specific to your RV and chassis.
