Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Truck

I would like to know if this will fit my truck. The last mount I got did not fit the mounting bracket measured 44 inch to the out side of the bracket, so before ordering I would like to verify the width of the mounting bracket. My truck frame is 34 inch to the out side of the frame. Its a new truck just a couple of months old. Thanks

I can help you find a hitch that will fit your 34 inch outside to outside measurement on your 2016 Chevy 3500 HD.

It sounds like you have a Cab and Chassis style Chevy, because of the 34 inch wide outside to outside frame. I have listed the trailer hitches below that will fit your vehicle, but the Reese RP45302 is not one of them. 2-1/2 inch receiver opening:

I called the manufacturer and part #41990, will accommodate up to a 44 inch frame. We also have part #41990-07 and 41990-16 which are both 44 inches wide with different size mounting brackets if these would fit your application.
