Hitch, Ball and Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2007 Subaru WRX
Question:
is this the proper hitch for an 07 WRX? also does it fit the a two inch ball? I have a small boat and trailer that have a combined weight of 1500lbs and the trailer uses a two inch ball. thanks.

Yes, the Curt # C11497 that you referenced will fit your 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX. You will need ball mount # 3593 and for a 2-inch ball I would recommend you get the Hitch Ball # 19258.
This should work well to tow your boat and trailer that weighs 1,500 lbs since this hitch has a 2,000 lb capacity. You will still want to check the owner's manual of your vehicle to determine what Subaru recommends for towing capacities and be sure not to exceed the lowest rated component as this will be the overall capacity since your setup is only as good as your weakest link.
