Tow Hook Removal After Installing Trailer Hitch # e23ZR On A 2022 Toyota RAV4

The install video shows the removal of the tow hook but then never mentions whether that is reinstalled, or if you have to leave it off. Does it get reinstalled?

When installing The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e23ZR onto your 2022 Toyota RAV4 after removing the tow hook on the passenger side of your vehicle you will not reinstall it onto your RAV4. Every hitch that is confirmed to fit your 2022 Toyota RAV4 will require removal of the tow hook on the passenger side of your vehicle.
The etrailer hitch has a bolt-on installation and has a matte black powder coated finish that will make scratches and scuffs less visible then the other trailer hitches that are confirmed to fit your vehicle.
The trailer hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight up to 4,000 pounds and has a maximum tongue weight up to 600 pounds. I would recommend checking your vehicle's manual to find out the proper towing capacity of your vehicle.
