The correct ball mount for your 2009 Audi A6 really depends on the hitch that's installed and the height of your trailer coupler when the trailer is leveled out.
For example, when we installed the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver 24836 on a 2008 Audi A6 we found the receiver height (ground to inside top of receiver) was 10". So if the bottom of your trailer coupler is 11" then you need the Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45147 which has a 3/4" rise and comes with a 2" hitch ball.
Attached is a link to an article with visuals on finding the right ball mount for any given towing setup for you to check out. If you are still unsure what you need then I'll need you to measure from the ground to the bottom of your trailer coupler (with the trailer leveled) and from the ground to the top inside of the hitch receiver on your 2009 Audi A6 so I can make an accurate recommendation.
