How Does The Thule OutWay Platform Trunk Mount Bike Rack Sit on a 2010 Mazda CX-7 Bumper

Question:

hi, seeing youtube I see that the th65jv is mounted on many cars with the spoiler and anyway my car mazda cx.7 year 2010 and also in the American version is equipped with a spoiler plastic sturdy enough. I tried to put a strap and pull, as if I had the 9003 and seems to hold up. would know tell me how many centimeters are below the rail where the wheels rest with respect to the point of support on the bumper? thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:

The bottom support arm of the Thule OutWay Platform # TH65JV that you referenced sits on top of your 2010 Mazda CX-7 bumper as noted on the attached picture.

Also in the attached picture are all the measurements of the OutWay in relation to your vehicle. From the bottom of the arm that rests on your bumper to the bottom below where your wheel sit is 2.358 centimeters (6 inches).

Your bikes when loaded on the OutWay Platform rack will not have contact with your vehicle.
