Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2011 Honda CR-V
Question:
Can you recommend a hitch and bike rack for my 2011 CR-V? Is there a bike rack that folds down or out or something so I can open up the back without having to unload the bikes and take the bike rack out? TIA!

Of course!
I recommend using the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e39AR for your 2011 Honda CR-V because it's a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver plus it has the clean looking matte black finish. The 2" receiver means you have access to more accessories and the matte black finish looks cleaner and is more durable than the standard glossy black finish we see on all of the other hitches.
Then for a bike rack I really like the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR because it's compatible with a wide variety of bike styles out there, it has the unique U-Shaped frame that makes it easier to add/remove your bikes, and it has an easy-to-use foot pedal for the folding feature so you can gain access to your rear hatch without removing the bikes or bike rack.
With the rack tilted down you can get at the cargo in the back of your vehicle but you still have to work around the bikes. For unrestricted access you can also use the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away # PVP20B which is a swinging arm that moves your bikes out to the side of your vehicle.
