Front Axle Springs For A 2002 Ford F-53 Without Striker Plates
Question:
On most of the pictures ive seen on your site the front Timbrens contact a strike plate on top of the leaf spring. My RV just has the short spring on top of the spring stack but no plate for the bumper to contact with. It has 2 small rubber bumpers which contact the spring directly when compressed. Im concerned if the Timbren will work and align properly in this situation. ????????

Though The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TFFF53B is confirmed to fit your 2002 Ford F-53 It would not work properly without the striker plate that is on top of the leaf spring. I recommend The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57140. This kit installs between your vehicle's frame and its leaf springs.
The air springs have a 5,000 pound capacity and are constructed of 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber. They have an adjustable air pressure between 5 psi - 100 psi.
I attached an installation video link below.
