How To Use GloLight LED Trailer Stop Turn Tail Reverse Light w/ Separate Wiring

Question:

Id like to use these lights on a custom flatbed that I am installing on a 2010 Nissan Frontier. The stock tail lights are separate brake, turn, and reverse lights. Can I just connect the trucks separate stop and turn wires to the stop/turn wire on the light? Or does that cause an issue if Im braking and turning simultaneously and the signal will just show the solid brake input? Im assuming I would also have to add a resistor to the turn wire so it wont hyper-flash.

You'd really want to use a 3-to-2 wire converter such as the Roadmaster # RM-732 to convert the separate wiring on your 2010 Nissan Frontier to a 2 wire system like the # STL1211RCFHPG you were looking at is designed to work with. This will make it so that you do not have any issues with brakes overriding the turn signals etc.

If you don't already have the two connectors the light required you'll need (1) # A45CB and (1) # A45PB for each light.

You are also correct you'll likely need to install resistors to keep from hyperflashing for which you'd need # DI34ZR.
