Will Aftermarket Hitch for 2020 Chevy Equinox Fit Behind rear Bumper Cutout
Question:
I have a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox premier that has the hitch cover built into the bumper...do you have one that works with that ?

All of the aftermarket hitches that fit your 2022 Chevy Equinox Premier will sit below the rear bumper fascia and aren't designed to be hidden behind that rear panel - for that exact setup you'll need to have an OEM hitch installed.
If the receiver being behind that panel isn't a deal breaker then I recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e59ZR because it has a matte black finish that not only blends in better with your vehicle trim but it does a better job holding up than the classic glossy black finish we find on every other hitch.
This does feature the hidden crosstube so the only part of the hitch that will be visible is the receiver itself. If you'd like to hide that in plain site I recommend adding a hitch cover like the Equinox-specific cover # CHAEHC-12 or the classic bowtie # PC002207. You can deter any jealous would-be-thieves with a locking hitch pin like the Master Lock # 1480DAT (the Equinox cover comes with theft-deterrent hardware but no physical lock).
Attached are some videos for you to check out. If you let me know what you plan on using the hitch for I'd be more than happy to make some additional recommendations for you!
