The trailer hitch has a bolt-on installation with no welding required. It has a matte black powder coat finish which is over a protective base coat which offers a superior rust resistance. I recommend this hitch over the others because it offers an extra coating of rust resistant paint which will allow it to withstand the elements longer then the other hitches.
The trailer hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight up to 3,500 pounds and has a maximum tongue weight up to 350 pounds. I would recommend checking your vehicle's manual to find out the proper towing capacity for your vehicle.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK69FR will give you a 4-flat connector that will make it to where your trailer's stop, turn and taillights mirror your vehicle's stop, turn and taillights. The custom fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness which is located in the rear cargo area. You will have to remove the plastic threshold cover, side panels, cargo trays, and interior trim panels to access this harness.
The Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45554 includes an 8-1/4 inch long, powder coated ball mount with a pre-torqued hitch ball; hitch pin and clip; hitch receiver lock with keys; hitch cover; and a storage case.
