Recommended Trailer Hitch And Wiring For A 2022 Toyota Sienna

What trailer hitch do you recommend for my 2022 Toyota Sienna. I do have the tow package. Will I need wiring to tow a trailer?

I did some online research. Your 2022 Toyota Sienna with the tow package has a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs. My trailer hitch recommendation was made with this in mind.
My trailer hitch recommendation is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2", part # e56RR. This trailer hitch has a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs and a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs. We do have another trailer hitch with these exact weight capacities. My preference for this trailer hitch is based on the matte black finish. Once you have installed this trailer hitch, you can get the wiring you need.
You will need a 4-way wiring harness. It allows your trailer to mirror the brake lights, turn signals, and running lights of your tow vehicle. I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part # TK69FR. This is a custom wiring harness that plugs into your existing wiring. You should use some dielectric grease, part # 11755, for these connections to help repel water and corrosion.
The last piece is the addition of a 7-way connector. Adding this will add the mirroring of your reverse lights, powering a brake controller, and providing a 12-V hot lead. You will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires, part # ETBC7, to complete the wiring of your vehicle.
