Recommended Tow Package For A 2013 Mini Cooper
Question:
I see that this will fit my 2013 Cooper JCWs but I have a question or 2. In the pictures for the product it doesnt show that it comes with a ball mount? In the picture you have with this item which I have included it shows a curved upward ball mount that would be to high for the trailer that I want to tow, if it does come with that mount do I have other options? I am assuming that the recommended wiring kit Item # 119250KIT has some install documentation or do I have to figure that out for myself? I tried calling your phone but it doesnt give options for questions about items.

When it comes to installing a tow package on your 2013 Mini Cooper The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 1-1/4 inch # EH47FR does not come with a ball mount. When it comes to the draw bar I recommend The Draw-Tite Drawbar for 1-1/4 inch Hitches - 4 inch Rise - 10 inch Long - 2,000 pounds # 3594.
This ball mount is class 1 and class 2 compatible, and has a gross towing weight up to 2,000 pounds and has a tongue weight up to 200 pounds. With this drawbar you will need The 2 inch Hitch Ball - 3/4 inch Diameter x 1-9/16 inch Long Shank - Chrome - 3,500 pounds # 19258.
When it comes to installing the wiring the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT is confirmed to fit your vehicle. There will be included instruction included in the package.
