When it comes to installing a trailer hitch on your 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 inches # C13161 is confirmed to fit all 2wd Tahoes.
This trailer has a bolt-on installation with no welding required. It has a gloss black powder coat finish which is over a protective base coat which offers superior rust resistance. The trailer hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight up to 6,000 pounds and has a maximum tongue weight up to 600 pounds. I would recommend checking your vehicle's manual to double check the proper towing capacity for your vehicle.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118384 will make your vehicle have a four flat trailer connector. Using this harness will make your trailer's brake, stop, and turn lights mirror your vehicle's brake, stop, and turn lights. This harness plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper. Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. The Mounting Bracket # 18144 is recommended to keep the connector secure.
