Recommendation For Raising 6 X 12 Single Axle Leaf Spring Trailer that Scrapes On Inclined Driveways
Question:
How can I raise the height of my trailer ? I have a 6x12 single axle trailer and am trying to raise the overall height be about 2 inches as I am constantly scraping on inclined driveways. Would longer shackle links help ? Or do you have a better option ? Thanks.

I have a couple recommendations for you as using a longer Shackle Strap # TRSL313 will hardly give you any noticeable lift on your single axle 6' X 12' trailer.
The Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 will allow you to relocate your axle from on top of the leaf spring to below the leaf spring. To use this first you must have an axle that is mounted on top of the leaf springs and the axle must be 2-3/8" in diameter round axle. This will raise your trailer 2-3/8" plus the thickness of your leaf springs.
The Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # LC87120 will allow you to raise your trailer 1-1/4" or 2-1/4". This will bolt to your hangers to provide you the addition lift by lowering the entire suspension system.
