Correct 3,500 lb Hub & Drum For Boat Trailer With Bearings L44649 & L68149

Question:

My outer bearing is L44649. I did not completely disassemble everything, because I didn't want to ruin parts before I have the new ones. On the spindle, according to your diagram, I measure the following: D: 1.05" C: 1.37" B: 1.73" The brake flange holes are 2.75" apart.

Outstanding information, thanks so much, and what you have, based on those measurements are a spindle for a 3,500 lb axle, with outer bearing L44649 and inner bearing L68149. For that, what you need is the following hub and drum:

- Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-G-K

This is a galvanized hub for your boat trailer, has a 5 on 4-1/2" wheel bolt pattern, and will allow you to use 3,500 lb brakes. Your brake flange bolt holes are the standard size so you can use the Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Dacromet - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies # AKUBRK-35-D.

The only other thing you'd need is the mounting hardware for these brakes, the Mounting Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10B.
