Question:

I have a boat trailer with hydraulic brakes that I need to replace the complete assembly with the backing plates and drums. The brake drum/hubs that I have on it now are UFP HD-1377-10. I need to replace both sides. Thanks for your help.

We do have what you need to replace the UFP HD-1377-10 hub and drum as well as add hydraulic brakes for your boat trailer. Here are the exact parts you will need:

- Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 84546UC3

- Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Dacromet # AKUBRK-35-D

- Mounting Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10B

This hub and drum is a replacement for your UFP, and the backing plates on the brakes are dacromet-coated, which means they are designed to be used in marine applications so they won't corrode. The mounting hardware will be for both assemblies, and the only other thing you may need if you don't have one is the Brake Adjustment Spoon for Drum Brakes # W80630.
