Compatibility between UFP HD1377 Drum/Hub and AKUBRK-35-D Trailer Brake Assembly
Question:
Hi, Will this brake assembly work with a UFP HD1377 Drum/Hub or do I need to buy a whole new set of Drum/Hub for this brake assy? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The UFP HD377 is a 10 inch hub drum for a typical 3.5K axle.
The # AKUBRK-35-D brake assembly you'd looked at is compatible with a 10 x 2-1/4 inch hub drum, as long a the inside width and depth dimensions of your existing hub match that, the assembly would work perfectly for you. I'd make sure that the inside surface of the existing hub/drum where the brake pads would contact are in good condition. If not, the proper replacement hub/drum is part # AKHD-545-35-K
