Does Trailer Hitch C13149 For 2012 Toyota RAV4 Require New Wiring Harness

Hi- I have a question about this: C13149 We bought a cargo carrier for our Volvo, and now want to use the same carrier for this trailer hitch on the Toyota Rav4. Would we need to buy a new electrical hookup for the Rav4?

You only need a new wiring harness if the cargo carrier you mentioned uses lighting functions (or you plan on towing a trailer at some point) with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13149.
If it is just a standard cargo carrier without lights, you won't need a new wiring harness with the # C13149; if the carrier does have lights that plug into a 4-way, then you will need a new harness, with the correct fit for your 2012 Toyota RAV4 being the following:
