I have a 2020 Chevy Impala Premier. Which is the better choice DrawTite or Curt? I ave a standard 5x8 utility trailer, what or rise drawbar do i need? Thank you!

For your 2020 Chevrolet Impala I suggest the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C12115 simply for the slightly higher tongue weight rating of 350 lbs. over that of the 300 lb. TW of the Draw-Tite option, # 36538.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C12115 is a Class II, 1-1/4" hitch with maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs. and max TW of 350 lbs. It is a bolt-on installation with all hardware included.

If the coupler on your utility trailer requires a 2" Ball, select the Curt Class II Euro Style Drawbar, # C45572 or use # C45571 for a 1-7/8" ball. Each of these options has a 2-5/8" rise. Use the Curt Hitch Pin and Clip for 1-1/4" Hitches, # F-4.

I do suggest you verify coupler height before ordering the drawbar. If you are uncertain how to make needed measurement, please not the linked help article below.

For the needed 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector for indicator lights to your trailer, I suggest the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness, # HM11141434. This provides a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights.
