Coiled Replacement 7-Way Trailer Side Recommendation for Ram 1500 Towing Trailer
Question:
I am having some connection issues with my 7-way RV trailer plug and factory socket on my 2015 Ram 1500. I believe my trailer side plug is the culprit and I would like to replace it. I see that there are plugs that have dual sided contact and some with single sided contact. Can you recommend the plug that will have the most solid connection on rough gravel roads and through turning movements?

The Bargman 7-Way, RV-Style Connector w/ 12' Long Coiled Cable # WG54006-046 that you referenced would be exactly what you are looking for as it has the dual contacts like you want. Since it's coiled that means that it will keep itself off the ground and will stretch as needed when making turns.
