Recommended Class V Hitch for 2001 Ford F-350 Long Bed Pickup

I was looking at curt #15845 and all I see is the images of this hitch installed on trucks without the ford bed on them such as flat bed trucks. Does this hitch fit my dually truck with a ford 8-foot bed?

The Curt # C15845 Class V hitch you'd looked at fits cab and chassis model trucks only, because cab and chassis trucks use a narrower frame spread (outside to outside distance between frame members) than the pickup models do.

For a 2001 F-350 Long bed pickup, use the Curt Class V hitch, part # C15810. The hitch has the same 20K towing 2.7K tongue weight capacity and 2-1/2 inch receiver as the hitch you'd looked at, but it will fit your frame spread. The hitch will install using existing holes in the frame, but you'll need to relocate the spare tire if it's mounted to a wheel 20" or larger.
