2017 Hyundai Tucson Heavy Duty Roof Rack Recommendation

Hello I was wondering if these rails were compatible with my 2017 Hyundai Tucson, my roof has the small side rails. If its not compatible could you point me in a direction for a similar product, I am looking for a heavy duty roof rack to carry some ladders. Thank you!

Thank you for all of the info! I definitely have a roof rack solution so you can carry some ladders with your 2017 Hyundai Tucson but at this time (February 2022) Rhino-Rack doesn't have a roof rack fitment for your Tucson so we won't be able to install a roof rack using the Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Crossbars # RB1250.

As an alternative option I recommend going with the Yakima HD Crossbar roof rack system. The crossbars won't increase the weight capacity of the roof rack since your Tucson is the limiting factor at 165 lbs, but these crossbars are the same ones that Yakima uses for their ladder rack system. Here are the parts that you need:

55" Yakima HD Crossbars - # Y01156
SightLine Towers - # Y64AR
HD Bar Adapter - # Y03541
Fit Kit - # Y47AR
Lock Core Kit - # Y07204 (optional)

To tie-down the ladders you can use the Load Stops # Y01161 or the Eye Bolts # Y01162 along with some straps like the Yakima HD Hook Straps # Y01165.
