Comparing Kuat Sherpa 2.0 and Transfer V2 Bike Racks for a 2014 Toyota Prius V

Good morning I am looking for guidance in choosing between these two racks. I just purchased from you an EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2. I was wondering if either one of these models allow for a bike-addition adapter to convert the 2-bike into a 3 or 4 bike rack. How much does each one of these racks weigh in the 2-bike model? Can you tell me what the length difference is between a 2 and a 3 bike rack? We usually carry 2 bikes hybrid/road/mountain bikes, but on occasion need to add a third. We are replacing our hanging-style rack with the platform rack, hoping the loading process will be simplified and that it will be easier on our backs. Would greatly appreciate your input. Thank you!!

Both the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 # SH22G and the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR are excellent bike racks but for what you're looking to get out of a bike rack I recommend going with the Transfer V2 over the Sherpa 2.0.
The Sherpa 2.0 is lighter at 32 lbs while the Transfer V2 weighs in at 47 lbs but the Transfer V2 has a unique U-Shaped frame that makes it easier to load/unload your bike(s) closer to the vehicle since you can literally step inside the bike rack instead of having to lean over the rack to do this. The Transfer V2 also has a higher weight rating(60 lbs per bike as opposed to 40 lbs per bike), you can use the 1 Bike Add-On # KU57FR for a 3rd bike, fit larger 50" wheelbase bikes, and you have the option to add the Phat Bike Adapter Kit # APBK if you end up getting a bike with tires larger than 3".
Long story short, the Transfer V2 is what you want and you can use the 1 Bike Add-On # KU57FR for a 3rd bike like what you mentioned. I have attached a few review videos for you to check out.
