How to Lock Yakima HoldUp # Y02443 to Receiver on Vehicle

how do you lock the rack into the receiver? The Thule has a lock on the pin.

Expert Reply:
The Yakima HoldUp you mentioned, part # Y02443 uses an anti-rattle threaded hitch pin as you can see in the photo I provided. The hitch pin can be locked, thus securing the rack to the hitch using the optional Hitch Lock, part # Y07235. You can see this by looking at the photo I edited for you.
In other words, the Yakima rack will lock the same way the Thule does, but the locking portion is not included with the rack and is an optional accessory.
