Pipe Mount Trailer Jack with Caster Wheel
Question:
Pipe Mount Swivel Style Trailer Jack with Foot - Topwind - 10inch Travel - 2,000 lbs. I have a Jack like this and need to replace it. I’m trying to find one that I can replace the foot with a wheel. Ideas? Thanks

Because the fit to the trailer of a pipe mount jack is a little loose due to the large tolerance between the jack and the pipe mount on the trailer, it's pretty rare to find a pipe mount jack with a removable foot that would allow a caster wheel to be installed.
The Bulldog # BD150415 which is actually intended for use on a basket lift CAN be used on a trailer according to the folks at Bulldog. They recommend using a foot plate like # BD018564 over a caster wheel most wheesl are only rated to 1200 lbs, and using it would decrease the 2000 lb capacity of the jack down to 1200 lbs.
Additionally, because of the amount of play in the connection between the jack and the pipe mount, if a caster wheel is used it should only be used to move the trailer fore and aft for a very limited distance. Moving the trailer tongue side to side or for greater distances could place enough force on the pipe mount that it's connection to the trailer could fail.
