Troubleshooting a Tekonsha Primus Brake Controller # TK90160 That has Power But Does not Work
Question:
The first time I used my system I set it on 8 and that was good. But the last time I used it I could not get it to set so I was wondering is there anything that could have been pushed to stop it from working right. It does have power to it

Are there any error codes popping up with your controller now that it seems to no longer be working? If not, it almost sounds like your trailer connector is not making good contact anymore and its not able to send brake voltage to your trailer.
Unless somehow the power knob got turned all the way down it should function just like it did as long as everything is hooked up correctly.
I also attached an FAQ article and video on troubleshooting brake controllers that you might find informative also.
