Question:

How do I get my. Unit to heat the water? It is only going to 84 degrees and then goes cold after that?

Your Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 41,800 Btu - White # LSB64FR could not be reaching temperatures above 84 degrees for a few different reasons.

The first thing to check is the water pressure and gas pressure as too low of either of these will cause the heater to malfunction. This unit has a minimum water pressure minimum requirement of 14.5 psi and maximum of 116 psi with the recommendation of 40-60 psi for optimal use. It has a gas inlet pressure minimum of 8" WC and maximum 13" WC with 11" WC being the recommendation for optimal use.

If both of these are correct and you've raised the temperature on your electronic controller and it still is not functioning correctly the controller or thermostat may be the issue and will need to be replaced. For replacements of these components you will need to reach out to the manufacturer LaSalle Bristol.

I've attached the error code sheet from the manual, if your controller is displaying any of these codes then please reply back and we can narrow down the cause.

Our remote won't stay at the temp we set it at and it consistently sends E1 code we have to have the sink and the shower running for it to even run the correct temperature for more than 5 minutes and it still send us the code.

@Taylor An E1 error code means that you have an issue with the ignition of the unit so it could either be that your gas pressure is falling below the minimum requirements of the unit or that the unit has a faulty sensor and isn't reading the pressure correctly. Make sure your gas bottle(s) are full and that the valve is fully open to start. From there the next step would be to test the pressure at the unit with a manometer. This is likely something you'd need to reach out to an HVAC or gas technician to check and then they can adjust or replace your regulator if it's not allowing enough pressure through. If the pressure isn't the issue then there isn't anything you can do besides reaching out to the manufacturer and seeing if they can either fix the issue or replace your unit on warranty. If you have a warranty on your RV with the dealership you purchased it from then I'd also see if that covers the water heater so you aren't paying out of pocket.

@Steve With your unit being brand new you most likely have trapped air in the lines causing the sensor to go off and give you an error. I recommend flushing the system a couple of times and then trying to start it up. If the issue persists then you could just have a faulty sensor and would need to reach out to Fogatti for replacement.
