How Much Tire Clearance is Needed for Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement
Question:
I have a custom truck and was looking into the #TUR350 as it is a universal fit that seems like it would work for my application. How much clearance is needed between the frame and tire for this to fit?

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System item # TUR350 requires a minimum 5" space between where you mount the 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" bracket to your frame and axle pad. This allows the springs to have a 1" gap. The spring itself is 4" wide and the bracket is 4 1/2" wide and you will need a 1" gap to have clearance between your tires and frame. Depending on how low your frame is you will either need 5" or 5 1/2" of space.
