How Much Distance is Ideal between Vehicle Frame and Timbren Spring

Question:

First of all you guys are great!!! Thank you for all of your help. Question. 2015 Silverado 2500 HD 4WD. I have the rear Timbrens already installed. I have about 1.25 to 1.5 inches before they engage with a load. Want a little more height when towing my 5th wheel. Would you recommend .5 inch spacer or 1.0 inch spacers to achieve this? Leave .5 inch before they engage? Would that be enough? Also looking at Timbrens for the front just because. Thanks.Recommendations?

Timbren likes to recommend 1 inch between the axle and the Timbren when the truck is unloaded. We have found that this works the best. This allows the suspension to feel when the vehicle is unloaded and still gives you support when needed when towing. Since you have 1-1/2 inches currently you'd want to use the 1/2 inch spacer part # TA25722-90P00 to give you the ideal support/ride quality.

Then for a the front axle you'd want the part # TGMFK25D which is confirmed as a fit as well.
