What is Difference Between Curt Weight Distribution Systems C17500 and C17501

Good Morning, Im looking to buy a Curt weigh distribution sway control system. Would like to figure out what is the different between two systems. ITEM: C17500 10000 lbs. gross weight capacity 1000 lbs. tongue weight capacity ITEM: C17501 15000 lbs. gross weight capacity 1500 lbs. tongue weight capacity So my questions are, what makes the different both looks the same. Is the spring bars are different material or size? Is the head unit are different material or size? Please let know so I can purchase the right product for my application. Thank you.

The difference between the two kits is the spring bar rating of the systems. The # C17500 has a spring bar that is slightly smaller in size to allow for it's lower rating than the # C17501 which is rated for 1,500 lbs tongue weight instead.

Good question! Since the hole for the top bolt on the Curt TruTrack #C17501 that attaches the head unit to the shank is elongated you want to install either long or short adjustment rod in the top hole on the head unit.
