Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2022 Ram 2500 Towing 2017 Forest River Wildwood 27RL

I just purchased a 2022 RAM 2500 Hemi with the factory rear air auto level suspension. Will be towing our 2017 forest river Wildwood 27RL travel trailer, 7500 Lbs dry, 9500 lbs max GVWR, so hitch weight probably around 900 lbs with a typical load. The truck tow rating sticker on the door is around 17000 lbs, 3100lbs payload, so not sure if I really need weight distribution, but do want anti-sway. What would be the best options for my setup?

For a trailer that big and heavy a weight distribution with sway control would be a really great option to give you the best ride quality and safety when towing. For that the best option would be the Reese Strait Line part # RP66084 which has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs and also features the best sway control for preventing sway before it starts.

Good question! Since the hole for the top bolt on the Curt TruTrack #C17501 that attaches the head unit to the shank is elongated you want to install either long or short adjustment rod in the top hole on the head unit.

The difference between the two kits is the spring bar rating of the systems. The #C17500 has a spring bar that is slightly smaller in size to allow for it's lower rating than the #C17501 which is rated for 1,500 lbs tongue weight instead.
