What do I need to flat-tow my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL.

You will need base plates to start and I recommend the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1139, this is the actual part that connects your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL to your tow vehicle tow bar.

Once the base plates are installed you will need a compatible tow arm like the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,500 lbs # BX7380. This connects to your base plates on the tow vehicle via your hitch receiver mounted on your tow vehicle.

Next you will also need a braking system that links your tow vehicle to the flat-towed vehicle I recommend the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251. This will ensure your Jeep slows and stops in sync with your tow vehicle.

To complete the set up you will need a wire harness like the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 this will sync your Jeeps brakes and lights with your tow vehicle to keep you legal and safe.

Also never back up a motor home with a flat-tow vehicle connected, it can cause extreme damage to your vehicle other property or potentially hurt someone.

You should also check your owner's manual to make sure you have followed all the steps and precautions to make your vehicle to ready.
