Hydrastar Extra Capacity Reservoir Retrofit Kit # HS85-1020 Mounting
Question:
I just installed my Hydrastar system. Found this on your site. This appears a nice addition. Wished I would have know before my installation. Noticed how it mounts on top. Questions. 1 - is there an installation video or instructions to see. 2 - as this mounts on top in the existing cap do you have to rebleed lines? If so why? 3 - if you do have to rebleed, do you have to drain the unit to install. The pictures show it mounts to to existing filler neck and top two screws on the unit. Thanks

The Hydrastar Extra Capacity Reservoir # HS85-1020 will sit directly on top of your current Hydrastar system to add an additional 1 quart of capacity. I do have a picture that I have included of the reservoir mounted on top of their main unit.
We currently do not have a video for the installation of the reservoir on a Hydrastar tank.
You will not have to re-bleed your brake lines or drain your main tank to install this. The adapter will lock onto the main tank similar to how the lid attaches. You will then bolt the adapter to the reservoir with the included nut. And attach the reservoir to main unit with the included longer screws and washers.
