How to Power an Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator

If I already have a breakaway switch on my 5th wheel wont my existing battery work the brake controller?

A brake controller such as the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 will need to receive power from the vehicle's battery. If you are referring to a brake actuator like the HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes part # HBA16 then yes as long as the breakaway switch has a separate battery which it should then you can run the power to the actuator using the breakaway switches battery.
