I am not 100% sure what you are referring to in regards to the factory 5 wires, but your 2017 Nissan Titan has a factory trailer brake controller port and will use an adapter to plug in to your Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885.

You will need the Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3050-P to plug into the factory connector underneath the dash.

This connector is there whether you have the factory tow package or not, just if you do not have the factory tow package you will also need the # N40975.
