Which Replacement Venture Lead and Follow Landing Gear Legs

Question:

Hello tech rep. I Have a 2008 Cameo by Carriage 5th wheel trailer 15000 Lbs. Im replacing a Venture landing gear assembly and would like to know which Stromberg Carlson landing gear assembly will match up to a well stop of 17.5inch bottom top well to top of bottom well? I purchased the LG-4 system 33.5, length is okay, with a 6500 lbs motor but the bottom well stopinch is way-way off. It makes sense to me since I already have a new complete system, all I really need is the appropriate lead and followinch legs part numbers Would that be the LG-1, LG-2, LG-3 or even the LG-4 if it comes in the 17.5 well stops configuration. Also can I still use the same components as that of the LG-4 if another LG leg system is recommended? I hope all that mumble-jumble makes sense. It took me awhile to construct it. I hope to hear from you today. I am a contractor and need to start my travel to my next assignment soon! Thanks for your time and knowledge. Sorry, no pictures.

You could re-use your existing # LG-4 if you have that bottom attachment bracket relocated to the appropriate position. It would involve removing the existing bracket and having the bracket provided with the # LG-4 welded into place.

If you'd prefer simply replacing the lead and follow legs you can use Lippert's # LC119102 which is the replacement Venture lead leg and # LC119101 for the follow leg. The legs would be compatible with your existing motor. Each leg has the 17-1/2 inch stop spacing and a 35-3/4 inch travel. Lippert purchased Venture a few years back, so the parts are compatible.
