2 inch Trailer Hitch for 2017 Ford C-Max for Bike Rack

Im looking into installing a hitch for my 2017 Ford C-Max. I noticed that you only have a one and a 1-1/4inch receiver available for this car. I already own a 2-in bicycle carrier and was wondering is there a fitting adapter to reduce the two inch to accommodate a 1-1/4inch receiver? Or is there a 2-in hitch installation available for the Ford C-MAX. Thank you kindly

For your 2017 Ford C-Max we have a 2 inch hitch with the EcoHitch part # 306-X7200 which would work great with your bike rack that was designed for a 2 inch hitch. Using a hitch adapter isn't a great idea since they cut the capacity of the hitch they are installed in by 50 percent due to additional leverage.

We have a hitch with a 2 inch opening like a Class III hitch that fits your 2015 Ford C-Max like the EcoHitch part #306-X7200 but this is technically a Class I hitch since the towing capacity is lower.
