Is this disc brake kit good for marine fresh water trailer application? I presently have the same actuator that is not functioning?

The Titan Disc Brake Kit and Actuator, # T4843300, is an excellent kit for a marine fresh water trailer. The brakes in this kit are zinc plated to provide superior corrosion resistance and durability. Disc brakes are also a great upgrade to add to a trailer if your trailer currently has drum brakes. Disc brakes have less parts and are easier to maintain.
You do not have to purchase the entire brake kit if you just need a new actuator. The Titan actuator has been discontinued and replaced with the Dexter actuator but can be purchased separately as part # 099-175-20. It is important that you choose the coupler based the type of brakes on your trailer. If your trailer has drum brakes and you decide to purchase the actuating coupler separately, then you will want part, # 099-175-00.
