Does the Fuse Holder Wire Loop Need to Be Cut to Install the Fuse Holder
Question:
I have the item # Curt 56061wiring harness for a 2012 Subaru Impreza sedan not WRX. It includes a yellow fuse holder that looks like a loop of wire with both ends going into the fuse holder. Am I supposed to cut this loop and use the connectors to put it inline with the positive battery terminal and the harness? Directions are unclear on this installation point. It shows the fuse holder as being in-line but the device is an uncut loop. Thanks, am impressed with your company so far!

Yes, you are correct. You will need to cut the loop, strip both ends of the wire and then use the included butt-end connectors to attach the fuse to the Curt Wiring Harness # 56061 and the ring terminal to the positive side of the battery in your 2012 Subaru Impreza Sedan.
I would recommend cutting the wire in the middle so that you have equal distance of wire on either side of the fuse.
