How to Install a P3 Brake Controller in a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
Is there a plug and play wiring option for the P3 for a 2009 Chev. C1500? I cant seem to locate one or what is needed to install the P3 on this vehicle. I dont have the original factory pigtail for this brake controller.

We actually have an FAQ article that I attached that details everything you would need to do to install a brake controller on 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500. There is not a plug and play option to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller # 90195. However, there is a bundle of blunt cut wires under your dash that you can connect a brake controller to.
You will need to get a Pigtail Wiring Harness for Tekonsha and Draw-Tite Brake Controllers # 7894 like you referenced also.
