To add trailer brakes you'll want to start by adding a new 7 way trailer connector; for that I recommend using the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box and RV Style Connector # HS381-9000, which will give you a 7 way and a way to install all of the wiring cleanly. You'll also need some 12 gauge wire, which is available by the foot with part # 12-1-1 and some butt connectors # DW05745-10 to make the connections to the wiring.
Other than that, you'll just be making connections and running wires, so outside of the # AKEBRK-7-SA those would be the only additional parts needed. If you currently have idler hubs and don't already have hubs/drums you will need to know the bearings that are currently in your old hubs; that would allow us to match up your old idler hubs to new hub and drums.
