Greetings, We are using the DLB800A hand winch on a lift that we manufacture and a customer would like to power the winch. Can we first put kit # 6454 to replace the hand crank and use item # 6456 to use a power drill to move the winch drum?

According to Dutton-Lainson, you can indeed use the # DL6454 to replace the existing handle on your DLB800A winch so you can utilize the # DL6456 drill Drive Socket Adapter.
