Will the Curt X5 Fit a Pro Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch and Fit Over a Bed Mat
Question:
will the 16310 accept the pro series 16000 fifth wheel? will it work over a bed matt?

Curt states that bed mats can affect the fit of the X5 # 16310. Basically if the Curt X5 can be pinned in like normal then it can be used with a bed mat. If it cannot then you would need to trim the mat in the shape of the X5 in order to get it to pin in and lock properly.
Because every truck and bed mat combination is going to be slightly different there is no set list of vehicles and mat combinations available to determine if it will fit or not. The pin hole center for the X5 is approximately 2 inches from the bottom of the unit. If you can measure from the surface of your bed mat down to the pin hole center in the ball cavity you can determine if this 2 inches is enough. The X5 will accept the Pro Series hitch.
