Harness Needed to Install Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN Trailer Brake Controller on 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
If my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 already has a tow package and wiring for a brake controller, can I just plug this in and go? Under my dashboard it looks like an area to plug in a brake controller purchased a used truck. How would I know if this wont work?

In order to install the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN Trailer Brake Controller part # TK63VR on a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 you will also need the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3016 which is what allows for plug-in-play installation. The plug will indeed be located under the dash.
