Can the Swagman Semi Be Adapted for Fat Tire Bikes

Will the fat tire adapter kit work on this rack?

I may have a solution for you, but there are not fat tire adapters available for the Swagman Semi 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64686 so it's not a good choice for bikes with tires wider than 3". If you don't have a carbon frame bike, the Swagman Current 2 Bike Platform Rack # S64678 is a similar rack that can accept bikes with tires up to 5" wide. This rack can also be used on the back of motorhomes like the Semi and also tilts away from your vehicle to allow access to the rear cargo arear. The big difference is that instead of securing the bikes by the wheels, the Current 2 will secure them by the frame; if you've got bikes with aggressive step through frames you would need a bike frame adapter bar like the # 64005.
This would be a great solution for you to carry fat tire bikes, and I've attached a short review video of this rack for you to check out.
