Can Demco Hijacker Autoslide for Ford Rail Kit Fit 2012 GMC Sierra

Question:

I know I don’t have to drill holes in my frame. I meant to I have to drill holes in the Reese rails between the frame rails to be able to mount the gooseneck ball? I don’t see any mounting area for it.

If you had the Demco Hijacker for Ford puck systems part # DM8550038 you could use the Reese Elite Rail kit part # RP30868 to install it in the bed of your 2012 GMC Sierra as this fits both your truck and the hitch since the Ford OEM rail kits are the same as the Reese Elite rail kit. Then to convert it to a gooseneck hitch as well you'd just need the part # RP30158 and you'd be set.

If I instal that in my truck will I have to drill holes to mount the gooseneck attachment? I did not see holes in the rails that go between the frame rails.

Yes you would need to drill holes in the truck bed, but you would not need to drill the truck frame. I attached an install video for this rail kit for you to check out as well.

I see what you mean now. No you do not have to drill into the frame rails.
