I want to tow my 5x8 utility trailer to use for home projects Will I have to move any factory installed mechanical wiring?

It sounds like you are looking for a trailer hitch for a 2016 Toyota RAV4 and if that is the case then the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13406 is a great bolt-on option. In regards to installation; simply lower the exhaust, fix the hitch into position and secure with provided hardware, trim the rear bumper fascia slighyt, then you are good to go.

In order to complete your setup I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118578 and the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900.
