Comparing Timbrens and Air Bags for a 2020 Ford F-150

Question:

Afternoon. I have used etrailer for inquiries in the past and received great success but sorry but here I am again. I have a 2020 Ford F150 Lariat. Prior to this I had both a 2014 and 2017 Lariat and towed the same Travel Trailer with absolutely no issue. With this 2020 modal I had the dealer install a front levelling kit. Love the look but when I hooked up my Travel Trailer I noticed a heavy sag. As per the dealers suggestions I installed the Timbren system but still, maybe a 3 inch drop. Ive attached a photo and am looking for suggestions please. This truck is leased so I do not want to dump tons of $$ into it.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TFR1504E is a good option for a 2020 Ford F-150 but the suspension has to reach a threshold before they engage and they do compress when this is done so you will still sag a bit while they are installed. If total sag reduction is your goal it's rather hard to go with air bags which will replace the Timbrens. The air bags allows you to adjust the pressure so not only will they engage right away but they also give a smoother ride. I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2582 as the best option. These won't void the warranty and they still allow the vehicle to be returned to stock.
