Installation Of Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System On 2016 Ford F-150

Question:

Just installed Timbren SES FR1504E on my 2016 F-150. Installed with spacer. Without load in truck the rubber spring contacts the axle. Should there be clearance? Should I remove the spacer? I can send photo.

There should be clearance when using the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFR1504E without load in the truck on your 2016 Ford F-150. I recommend removing the spacer. The empty ride of your vehicle is not to be effected by the system meaning that the axle shouldn't engage the spring unless there is an applied load.

The only reason I recommend removing the spacer is because having the springs engaged all the time will increase the rigidity of your unloaded ride. When used as intended, the ride is unaltered when unloaded and supported for greater comfort when loaded.
